Future Outlook

Decentralised social protocols are a new and exciting development in the world of social media. They offer users an alternative to the traditional models of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. These platforms have been criticised for their lack of transparency, privacy concerns and censorship issues.

Decentralised protocols provide users with greater control over their while also allowing them to monetise it in new ways. The potential for these new platforms is huge but there are still some obstacles that need to be overcome before they can go mainstream. One issue is scalability; most Dapps run on Ethereum which has limited throughput compared with other blockchains such as EOS or Tron (TRX).
