Comment

How it works

The comment functionality allows users to add their commentary on other publications. Comments are handled in the same manner as a base publication, but are subject to additional checks.

When uploaded, comments are directly linked to the user's Nabi Profile NFT and are fully owned by the user who created the comment.

As comments make references to other publications, they have to follow the original publication's Reference Module conditions.

For instance, if a publication limits comments only to accounts who follow the original poster and the commenter does not have a Follow NFT, the action to upload the comment will fail.

Modularity

Similar to regular publications, comments also have Collect and Reference Modules.

The Collect Module specifies how a comment can be minted into a Collect NFT, while the Reference Module contains the logic that will execute prior to commenting or mirroring the new comment.
