How it works

Mirroring in Nabi Protocol is similar to reposting content. Mirrors are handled in the same manner as a base publication, but are subject to additional checks.

As mirrors make references to other publications, they have to follow the original publication's Reference Module conditions.

For instance, if a publication limits mirroring only to accounts who follow the original poster and the user who intends to Mirror the publication does not have a Follow NFT, the action to upload the mirror will fail.

Modularity

As mirrors only repost existing content, they do not have a ContentURI field. The mirror itself cannot be collected and the original post that was mirrored will be collected instead.

As such, mirrors themselves cannot be mirrored nor commented on due to the same principles above. Doing so will cause the original post that was mirrored to be interacted with instead.
